What To Expect
Outdoor Portofino
Outdoor Portofino’s nautical base is located in Niasca in the bay of Paraggi, distant one kilometer from Portofino. The sandy beach is nestled in the green Mediterranean scrub which, only in this sheltered area from sea storms, it arrives to touch the water.

Fabulous afternoon

We are on a cruise that has stopped at Portofino and decided to try the SUP experience with Outdoor Portofino this afternoon. We are a family with two kids ages 12 and 16. We’ve had such a fabulous time. Dario was our guide and he briefed us really well on technique before taking us out for a practice / warm up prior to the experience around the coast. Dario was professional and friendly briefing our group of 7 in both English and Italian. He was also brilliant with the kids. The venue itself is quite small with not a lot of amenities - we walked from Portofino harbour and it was about 20 mins along the main road. We are all exhausted and have fallen in quite a few times but had such a lot of fun and would thoroughly recommend.
First SUP experience

My boyfriend and mine first SUP experience. Chill staff, our guide Dario was very nice, explained the technique well and showed us the bay area, as well as teaching us a bit about Portofino's fauna and flora. We had a lovely time and feel confident in wanting to try paddleboarding on our own next time! Definitely recommend it.

Il personale, in particolar modo il nostro istruttore, gentilissimo .
Ci siamo trovati subito bene .
Sicuramente ripeteremo questa esperienza che ti fa passare il tempo divertendoti con la propria famiglia.
Abbiamo dovuto parcheggiare a santa margherita da lì volevamo prendere un autobus che ci avrebbe portato direttamente a destinazione, Ma ahimè erano tutti al completo e Siccome eravamo sotto il sole cocente, abbiamo deciso di prendere un taxi per per arrivare a destinazione. Il taxi dal parcheggio di Santa Margherita a destinazione che era circa un chilometro e mezzo ci è costato 35 euro.
Appena arrivati c'è la spiaggia libera, Noi siamo arrivati lì con un'ora di anticipo così abbiamo potuto fare un'oretta di bagno nella piccola Spiaggetta, molto bella.

Fantastic SUP experience

È da tempo che volevo riprovare l'uscita in SUP. Ho fatto una breve ricerca su internet e trovato questo piccolo centro. Alessia è stata gentilissima e ha proposto al mio amico Ilario una soluzione ad hoc solo per noi. Alessia ci ha suggerito di parcheggiare a Santa Margherita e prendere il bus (ferma proprio di fronte alla scaletta che porta al centro), decisamente più economico e comodo rispetto ai parcheggi di Portofino. Siamo quindi partiti da Milano per la nostra lezione delle 9. Il centro dispone di uno spogliatoio, docce, WC e armadietti dove riporre i propri effetti personali. Prima di iniziare la nostra escursione in mare nella piccola baia di fronte al centro, Alessio, il nostro istruttore, ci ha fatto un breve briefing. Alessio è molto disponibile e professionale e ci ha messo subito a nostro agio. Sicuramente torneremo per un'altra uscita in SUP, per fare snorkeling (il fondale è ricco di pesci) o per provare kayak. Peccato non aver potuto fermarci dopo la lezione, la spiaggetta è davvero minuscola. Grazie ad Alessio e Alessia che ci avete permesso di vivere questa bellissima esperienza.
